Ollie’s Market Selected as Welcome Café Operator at Mayfair’s Midtown District

Family-owned neighborhood grocer brings clean, local, seasonal eating to a second Texas community

NEW BRAUNFELS, TX — July 30, 2026 — Mayfair, a 1,900-acre master-planned community in New Braunfels, is pleased to welcome Ollie’s Market to Midtown Mayfair as the family-owned grocer expands to its second location.

Ollie’s Market will be the official operator in Mayfair’s welcome café, a gathering spot for homeowners and visitors to the community. The café, coming this Fall, will be the third building to be completed in the new Midtown Mayfair, a recreation and retail town center in the heart of the neighborhood.

A family-owned neighborhood grocer known for connecting Central Texas households with clean, locally sourced food, Ollie’s Market was founded in San Marcos by Natalie and Eli Zablosky on a simple belief: that everyone deserves access to real, clean food — not processed food disguised as healthy. Since opening its original San Marcos location, Ollie’s has built its business around clean sourcing, local partnerships, and seasonal eating, working directly with local farmers and regional producers to bring food to the table that hasn’t traveled across the country to get there.

The decision to expand into Mayfair was driven by a shared vision for community. As a modern, small-town destination taking shape in New Braunfels, Mayfair offers Ollie’s Market the opportunity to establish roots in a fast-growing community that is already being recognized for its intentional design, amenities and lifestyle. Mayfair was recently named “Best Neighborhood” in the Herald-Zeitung’s 2026 Best of New Braunfels, an honor determined by local voters. Just down the road in San Marcos, Ollie’s was awarded Outstanding New Business in the 2026 Love Downtown Awards.

Together, the two organizations aim to create a welcoming café that enriches daily life and helps shape the resident experience.

“Ollie’s Market represents exactly the type of locally rooted business we envisioned for Midtown Mayfair,” said Thad Rutherford, CEO and President of Southstar, Mayfair’s developer. “Their commitment to local relationships, seasonal food and authentic community aligns perfectly with Mayfair’s vision. As Midtown Mayfair comes to life, we’re creating meaningful places where homeowners and visitors alike can gather and connect over delicious food and drinks.”

“Ollie’s Market has always been an extension of how we eat at home,” said Natalie Zablosky, co-founder of Ollie’s Market. “It started as a way to bring what I was raised with in San Marcos back into the community food scene. New Braunfels feels like a natural next step — a community that shares the same values we built this market on.”

The Mayfair location expands on the Downtown flagship with a café-style model, layered onto Ollie’s existing selection of clean, locally sourced ingredients, vendor partnerships, and seasonal recipes. Ollie’s at Mayfair will feature daily baked bread & pastries, a fresh deli grab & go section and espresso, alongside a full commercial kitchen offering market salads, smash burgers and more. Beer, wine and thoughtful mixed drinks will round out the menu, along with weekend programming.

“We’re not trying to become something bigger than what we are,” said Eli Zablosky, co-founder of Ollie’s Market. “We’re intentionally extending Ollie’s mission to a new neighborhood.”

The New Braunfels location is set to open this Fall at 5708 Guthrie Trail, New Braunfels, TX, joining the recently opened Celebration Hall and Midtown Swim Club. Store hours and opening event details will be announced closer to the opening date.
